Just run a skill build with a cleaver or spear until you can get chikage. You can rush it if you're confident in your abilities pretty early in the game. I’ve also done a 50 STR/25 ARC build using the Amygdala Arm and the Holy Moonlight Sword.I use 9kv8xiyi for radials and p3umyztu for triangles, layer 1 boss. At 50 strength though, you’ll get more damage using 1 or 2 (depends on the weapon) Heavy Abyssals in your radial slots. Layer 3 boss of 9kv8xiyi is HBLB, who drops them. Nourishing gems for all that you listed, though flat arcane damage also works well with the Wheel.Definitely pump the cane up. At +10 it’s a monster esp with good gems. If you’re maining the Cane, i definitely recommend Skill to 50. Cane scales with that and so do your viscerals so it’s a great combo. The cane can make all the beast boss fights (abhorrent, bloodletting, darkbeast Paarl and Loran, etc) much easier.The bowblade will probably do best in a 50/50 SKL/BLT build. However doing this will force you to sacrifice other stats. I believe the bowblade will shine best while used in the off-hand to compliment your other bloodtinge weapon of choice. Being able to pull out significant ranged damage during fights can be a huge advantage.As long as a weapon does not innately have two different damage types, elemental blood gems will be able to convert it to scaling with Arcane and dealing elemental damage.
